Kim Polakoff grew up in North Carolina, earning a B.A. in political science from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her diverse background and each phase of her life has taught her new perspectives on people and business from living in Europe to owning and operating a day spa in Atlanta, to working as a video editor for Turner Broadcasting. As a small business owner in Atlanta, she learned the ins and outs of accounting, management, investing, problem-solving, and delivering superior customer service; all integral parts of her work as a Real Estate Agent today.
She and her husband, Keen, first invested in real estate along Florida’s Emerald Coast in 2003. They quickly realized they wanted to help others in their dream of owning beach property, and they sold their home and business in Atlanta to move to South Walton. Together, they live and breathe real estate with their four-person team, The Polakoff Group. They regularly brainstorm new ways to keep the transaction process simple and fun for clients, while helping them achieve their goals. Their team combines decades of experience helping investors and families and is consistently praised for their professionalism, attention to detail, knowledge, and enthusiasm.
Kim enjoys life as a balance of work and play. She loves the Gulf of Mexico and the lifestyle it inspires, from paddling, swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving to just floating. She dances salsa and practices yoga. Kim speaks French and Italian, and gives back to local charities and their communities through volunteering, including serving on the board of directors for the Cultural Arts Alliance since 2012.
