Real estate has always been in Mollie Malouf’s blood. Her family owns a mortgage company as well as rental properties in her hometown of Greenwood, Mississippi. Seeing her parents working with people to finance mortgages helped Mollie realize she wanted to play a part in helping people find their dream homes.
As a recent graduate from Mississippi State University, with a degree in apparel merchandising and design with a minor in marketing, she decided to make the move to the area known as 30A. Mollie first visited the area when she was four years old. Over the years, as her family members purchased real estate in northwest Florida, Mollie fell in love with the area and began to envision what life would look like if she were to live along the Emerald Coast. Now, that dream has come true.
The Polakoff Group at Scenic Sotheby’s International Realty appreciates Mollie’s talents in her role as Business Coordinator. As a newly licensed Real Estate Agent, she assists the team with listing coordination and transaction management.
Being a people person, Mollie is fun to work with and a good listener. These characteristics, along with her strong work ethic, were instilled in her by her large Lebanese family and are beneficial in her real estate profession. In 1946, Mollie’s great-grandfather started Malouf Furniture Company, which eventually inspired the birth of John Richard Collection, a luxury home furnishings manufacturer that her grandfather owned and operated for almost 40 years. Entrepreneurship is a cornerstone of her family, and Mollie is now paving her own path into the business world.
In her free time, Mollie enjoys traveling, going to the beach, reading, and cooking. Mollie also loves animals and is excited to volunteer her time at the Alaqua Animal Refuge.
Mollie’s approach to life could easily be summed up by this popular quote by Maya Angelou “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
