The 2026 season runs weekly from May 25 through August 7. Which means the week you're reading this is the last one before the greens go quiet.
That transition is more interesting than the summer itself. The programmed calendar hands off to a quieter, resident-owned rhythm built around Barrett Square, a handful of new dining rooms, and a Sunday market that never left.
The thesis, if you want it in one line: Rosemary Beach in August is not winding down. It is shifting from a schedule for guests to a schedule for the people who live here.
The Hinge Week
If you have been meaning to catch one more Wednesday concert or one more Thursday film, this is the week. The Wednesday concert series is one of the most anticipated recurring events on the Rosemary Beach community calendar, with face painting from a resident artist, popcorn and hot dogs from DogMan Du, and music that starts around sunset. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome and encouraged.
A few specifics worth marking on your calendar before the season closes:
- Monday children's concerts on North Barrett Square. Huck & Lilly perform the kind of high-energy sets that pull kids up within the first few bars, with complimentary cotton candy from Hello Sugar and custom balloon creations from a resident artist.
- Thursday craft hour. Children and teens design and decorate their own custom belt bag to take home. Bags are limited to 150 each week and go quickly, so an early arrival is worth it.
- Film nights on the Western Green. Candlelit, blankets down, the last few of the season.
After August 7, the squares are yours again.
Where the Evenings Move Next
When the programmed nights end, dining rooms and rooftops absorb the traffic. Rosemary Beach has a compact restaurant map, and the interesting story is how differently each room reads once you're not sharing the square with a concert crowd.

A few of these are worth stopping on. Gallion's is an approachable upscale restaurant and cocktail lounge on Barrett Square in the heart of Rosemary Beach, with sophisticated small plates, flawlessly executed coastal favorites, a wine and spirits portfolio that ranges from the Buffalo Trace vintage collection to Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon, and a timeless interior designed by Erika Powell of Urban Grace. If you have not been yet, know the house rules: Gallion's welcomes guests 18 and older for adult-only dining beginning at 3 pm, with a family-friendly lunch from 11 am until 2:30 pm, the bar open at 11 am, and dinner service starting at 5 pm.
Havana Beach is the other room that changes with the season. Anchored by a hand-carved mahogany bar that speaks of Hemingway's Havana, the menu draws from the southern Gulf coast, creole back country, Mexican fishing villages, and the soul of Cuba, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily and brunch on weekends. Upstairs, the Pearl's casual rooftop lounge serves cocktails and small plate tasters from the wood-fired oven, with views of the Gulf and the destination pool.
For a lighter night, the older places still hold. Across from The Pearl is The Summer Kitchen Cafe, in the Rosemary Beach Inn, the first restaurant to open in Rosemary Beach. It once lived in a little beach shack, and as the town grew, the shack became a permanent restaurant, but the menu still features much-loved specials from its early days. A block over, La Crema Tapas & Chocolate is next door to family-friendly Cowgirl Kitchen, where sports are usually playing on the TV, locals are drinking at the bar, and families are chowing down.
If you'd rather cook, walk to Feed & Supply. Located in Rosemary Beach, Feed & Supply is stocked with fine wine, dips and casseroles to go, artisanal cheeses, craft beer, and picnic provisions. It's the version of a grocery run that doesn't feel like a chore, and it makes an unscheduled Tuesday feel like a plan.
The Sunday Anchor
The single most reliable event on the resident calendar isn't the concert series. It's the market. The Rosemary Beach Farmers Market runs on Barrett Square every Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm, year-round. That's the schedule you can build a fall routine on. Coffee at one of the shops in town, a slow loop of the vendors, and a bag of produce home before the beach gets busy.
Pair that with a walk down Main Street. Stop by the Rosemary Beach Collection for a curated selection of Rosemary Beach-themed items and boutique goods. Huck and Harlowe offers stylish finds for four-legged companions. Faherty delivers comfortable, beach-inspired clothing, and Oko Lifestyle offers curated fashion pieces. Bombora features surf gear, apparel, and accessories, and Curate 30A is a gallery showcasing works from sought-after artists.
The point isn't the list. The point is that once August 7 passes, the shops read differently. The Sunday you have on hold for guests in July becomes the Sunday you actually use.
What Replaces the Summer Calendar
The fall calendar is thinner and better. It rewards regulars because the marquee dates are anchor points, not weekly obligations.
Two to hold for:
- Rosemary Beach Uncorked, November 14, 2026. The town's flagship food-and-wine event on Barrett Square. The event is a taste of the best food and wine Rosemary Beach has to offer, featuring exceptional food from local restaurants including Havana Beach Bar & Grill, a diverse selection of wine, and live music.
- The Pearl's special-event calendar. The Pearl Hotel sits in the heart of the Rosemary Beach community on Scenic Highway 30A, in the middle of a calendar of events all year long. After Labor Day, this is the room that keeps producing wine dinners and tastings when the greens are dark.
Between those two anchors, the actual texture of an evening changes. The Pearl's rooftop is a different animal in November than in July. Barrett Square at 6 pm on a Wednesday in October is a place you can sit down. The Summer Kitchen's back porch is one of the best seats in town once the humidity finally breaks.
A Quiet Argument for Staying Home
If you already own here, the temptation in early August is to plan an escape. Prices for flights and rentals almost anywhere else drop in mid-August. The counter-argument is on your own square.
The three weeks between the last summer film and the start of the fall event calendar are the closest Rosemary Beach gets to feeling like a small town again. The oaks along 30A that greet visitors with a tunnel of shade created by rows of tall, stately scrub oaks planted on either side of the highway feel different when the traffic under them thins. The grass park on the north side, encircled by scrub oaks, with a bubbling fountain at the far end becomes a place you cross without waiting.
That's the resident version of Rosemary Beach. It shows up on August 8 and stays until Uncorked.
