The town of Miramar Beach is a welcoming enclave that stretches over three miles along the beautiful white sands of the Gulf of Mexico in southwest Walton County between the city of Destin and Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. With gulf-front high-rise condominiums and beaches teeming with locals and visitors, the community has much in common with neighboring Destin, but vestiges of its former life as a small, sleepy beach town are still in evidence.

Miramar Beach is one of South Walton’s most fun-filled and diverse beach neighborhoods. Enjoy everything from antique shopping to beach volleyball, or spend your days and nights exploring a wide variety of dining options. In addition to its miles of sugar-white sand, which are perfect for a day of lounging, Miramar Beach is one of the few places in South Walton where you can rent jet skis or a boat and go parasailing, so if you like to add horsepower to your fun, this beach neighborhood is a perfect choice. You can soak in the sun, or rent jet skis or go on parasail rides for a sky-high perspective on the sparkling white sand and turquoise water.
 
It’s easy to stay active in Miramar Beach as well, where in addition to golf, tennis, or swimming, you can take advantage of the weather by taking a run or bike along the 3-mile Scenic Highway 98 Trail. Fans of tennis can stay at the Hidden Dunes Beach & Tennis Resort, an award-winning tennis facility with six championship clay courts and a variety of instruction options from their USPTA teaching staff.
